Walk on the Baskinta Literary trail

We are pleased to invite you to the “Walk on the Baskinta Literary trail” event happening this Sunday 23rd of April organized by Baskinta Baytouna and Suburbs Organization (BBSO) in partnership with Lebanese Mountain Trail Association, the Municipality of Baskinta and Fair Trade Lebanon.
This event is organized as part of the International Fair Trade Walk Festival happening in different Fair Trade Towns this month.
Baskinta is one of the 9 Lebanese villages which signed the Fair Trade Towns charter two years ago. The main goal of a Fair Trade Town is to unite a community of both producers and individuals around the will to promote the Fair Trade movement’s ethics and products.
The Fair Trade Walk festival encourages individuals, groups, schools, universities to take part in these walks and raise awareness on the injustice of the international trading system and encourage people to join the campaign for better income and improved working conditions for the people who grow our food and make our products.
