Ticket Explanation
- Tickets include all refreshments, food, materials, day and optional evening activities.
- It does not include accommodation
Fees:
Full Fee - £100 This is the fee if you are working for an organisation that has a budget to cover conference fees and includes a percentage to go towards someone attending who does not have the means to pay a fee, including Fair Trade volunteers and Fair Trade producers.
Fee - £50 This is the regular cost.
Reduced Fee - £30 This is a reduced fee for those that do not have the means to pay the normal fee, due to other costs including travel costs from another country or if you can't simply cover the normal or full fee.
Free Ticket Request* - This ticket is open to those that do not have the means to pay a fee at all. Please be expected to demonstrate why you are accessing the free ticket option when we contact you to confirm your ticket. This could be due to high travel costs ( e.g travel from another country), volunteer, unwaged, student etc. We may limit the number of free places offered to a country or region to ensure fairness, equity and diversity. If you have been invited as a guest, you will not be expected to pay the fee (but you are more than welcome to)
Optional Cultural Tour Ticket - This includes a tour of local historical and cultural interest linking to Wales' history of trade, and its status as a fair trade nation. This includes all travel, food and activities. Accommodation may be extra. More details to follow

6-8pm – Welcome Dinner, Y Senedd, Cardiff Bay, CF99 1NA – Hosted by Jane Hutt Deputy Minister and Chief Whip, joined by Sophie Howe, Future Generations Commissioner, “How Fair Trade helps us to be globally responsible”

10.15am – Keynote Speaker: Erinch Sahan, CEO World Fair Trade Organisation & Mike Gidney, CEO Fairtrade Foundation
10.30am – The Big Debate: The Future of Fair Trade
We will discuss issues such as the climate emergency, living income, evolving certifications and campaign evolution with:
- Erinch Sahan, WFTO
- Mike Gidney, CEO Fairtrade Foundation
- Jenipher Wettaka Sambezi, MEACCE, Uganda & others TBC
11.50am – Workshops session 1 (see below for workshop descriptions)

5pm – Final Session including The New IFTTC Steering Committee and EU Cities for Fair and Ethical Trade Award 2020

9.45am – The Producer Voice: “Why the future of coffee is now” – CLAC
10.15am – Plenary debate: The Future of Global Trade & Trade Justice
11.30am- Final Session: To review what we have learned, taken action on, next steps & voice of the fair trade towns movement
12.45pm Close
Monday 21st – Optional Cultural Tour of the World’s 1st Fair Trade Nation: Including visits to a Fair Trade School, Welsh Government, various heritage and cultural sites with a traditional pub lunch (9.00am City Hall pick up, 5.30pm City Hall drop off)
